Gotham Rags was founded by Stephen Bodkin—an award-winning designer with decades of experience in advertising, product design, and art. When Stephen discovered pickleball years ago, he fell in love with the game—but not the apparel. The designs felt repetitive, uninspired, and overly obsessed with pickles for a sport named after a dog. Pickleball deserved better style, smarter humor, and bolder ideas.

We create fresh, design-driven pickleball apparel that people actually want to wear—on the court and off. Drawing from designing for national brands, with a background in photo shoots, TV commercials, branding, and web design, Stephen treats every tee, hoodie, and sweatshirt as wearable art.
